Luxury Tenerife resort boasts 1,000sq m spa and wellness centre
A new luxury resort on the Spanish Canary Island of Tenerife is home to a 1,000sq m (10,764sq ft) spa, among its 121 junior hotel suites and one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
The Royal Hideaway Corales, designed by MKV Design, is now open and its wellness attractions are aplenty.
Sat underneath the hotel, guests descend in front of a wall of timber and stone into the spa via an elevator into the spa.
Volcanic stone, rich North African timbers and glass pervade throughout this area, which is flanked by a glazed wall.
Exact details on treatments and other elements are not currently available.
The hotel also boasts a pool bar terrace and a number of bars and restaurants.
Maria Vafiadis, managing director of MKV Design said: “Royal Hideaway Corales is a truly unique project in so many ways, not least in its architecture and scale.
“So our interiors have drawn on the buildings’ architecture to achieve a purist design in the suites and spa, balanced by a diverse range of wining and dining destinations, each with their own aesthetic.”
